West Orange, NJ (March 19, 2014) - On April 11, 2014 at 1:30 pm, McLoone's Boathouse will host a press conference and luncheon to formally announce its support for The Griffin Bridges Program at Seton Hall Preparatory School through a sponsorship of their Third Annual "Building Bridges 5K." As an alumnus of The Prep, owner Tim McLoone is supportive of Seton Hall's continued efforts to make quality education accessible to all, regardless of their socio-economic background.
For twenty years, Griffin Bridges has supported talented young men from Newark, East Orange, Orange and Irvington not only with scholarships, but more importantly with a vast support network to ensure that students have the tools they need to thrive in high school and beyond. The program boasts a 100% high school graduation and college admission rate, with students currently attending some of the finest colleges in the country: The University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University, Kenyon College, Lafayette College, just to name a few.

The McLoone's Boathouse "Building Bridges 5K" will be held at South Mountain Reservation on Crest Drive and Bear Lane (Millburn, NJ) on May 10th.
